We are excited to welcome our students back to Union Grove tomorrow for Readiness Day and Cub Camp! This is a great opportunity for students to get ready for the first day of school, become familiar with campus, and take care of a few important back-to-school items.
Tuesday, August 11 Schedule
8th Grade Readiness Day: 8:00–10:00 a.m.
7th Grade Readiness Day: 10:30 a.m.–12:30 p.m.
6th Grade Cub Camp: 1:00–3:00 p.m.
We are still waiting for our textbook delivery and Yondr pouches to arrive. However, students will still be able to verify their schedule, take an updated student ID photo if they would like, and drop off school supplies or other items in their locker. Students who would like access to their locker tomorrow should bring a combination lock with them.
As you finish your back-to-school shopping, please remember that middle school students will need the following supplies:
1 clear/mesh backpack
1 pencil pouch (clear recommended)
3 packages of #2 pencils (12 count)
1 package of pens (12 count)
2 packages of wide-ruled notebook paper
2 erasers
10 composition books (5 per semester)
2 packages of colored pencils (12 count)
2 packs of highlighters (4 count each)

We know the start of a new school year comes with a lot of moving pieces, and we appreciate our families helping students arrive prepared and ready for a great year. We cannot wait to see our Grizzlies tomorrow and officially get the 2026–2027 school year underway!
Proud to Be a Grizzly!
