Killeen ISD students in seventh grade and above and their families are invited to explore future career and education opportunities at the district’s Future Ready Expo on Thursday, Oct. 22, at the Killeen ISD Career Center.
From 5:30 to 7 p.m., students will be able to get a firsthand look at the many Career and Technical Education opportunities available across Killeen ISD.
Families can explore career pathways, visit CTE classrooms, watch STEM demonstrations and learn how the courses students choose now can help prepare them for high school, college, careers and beyond.
Students will also have the opportunity to learn more about fields such as health science, STEM, automotive, culinary arts, welding and other career-focused programs offered in Killeen ISD.
The event is designed to help students discover their interests, better understand the programs available to them and begin making informed choices about their educational journey.
Families can also receive guidance on course planning for middle and high school. Future Ready information sessions will be offered from 5:45 to 6:05 p.m. and again from 6:20 to 6:40 p.m. in the Career Center Lecture Hall.
